2017: Amber Clover Reborn
Not just in terms of updating our DA page, but also actual physical activity like anime convention and such.
Well, because 2016 is one hell of a shitty year....just kidding (KINDA)
Part of the reason is that many of our members, myself included, were facing their crucial life stages that they have to evaluate their daily priorities...(You know, grad school, marriage, or even military service...that kind of stuff...)
Another part is that we unfortunately had some lousy luck with artist alley lottery and thus we weren't able to meet you guys at the cons....
BUT!!!!
2017 WOULD BE A WHOLE NEW DIFFERENT YEAR
During our seemly public absence the past year, we are actually preparing Amber Clover to embrace a whole new year of excitement and adventures. Not only has our team grow, which enable us to embrace many new creative possibilities, but we also will make our appearance at new conventions as well, particularly, OTAKON (And man, we are SO EXCITED for it)
Furthermore, we have been working on a secret project for some time and we believe now is the time to reveal it to the world!

For those who have been patiently waiting for our return, we sincerely apologize. We hope what we are about to deliver will justify the wait cause 2017 will be a great year for Amber Clover and its fans!
Sorry for the lack of update and voice from us for a long while! Things are extremely busy for our private lives (Including one of our oldest member, EEL, getting married! YAHOOOOOO!!!!), as well as some great initiatives we are taking on, and now is time to reveal them!!!
But first, let's start with con report of Acen2015. Another great year of immense fun and excitement! This year outside of new addition of new merchandises featuring new series, created by new blood of the team, we introduce series-specific events for two series: Kantai Collection and Love Live Series. As always, we deeply appreciate all your support and love of our works!
Also, we would like to express our special thanks to the cosplayers who have assisted with our special events! This is our first time doing this so we are really glad we can get these great cosplayers to help us out and that these events ended successfully!
Once again, thank you all for Acen this year and we look forward meet you again next year as well!
Now moving on, as mentioned, Amber Clover is undergoing some major initiatives right now, and here is the announcement(drum roll
1) We are currently working with Taiwanese artist Rotix on a Kantai Collection Yonoka series: Kiriman, which outside of weekly online publication, we are aiming to release as doujinshi during upcoming Taiwanese convention! It is quite exciting for us since this would be the first time we participate in webcomic/ doujinshi production and we really hope all our Teitoku fans will enjoy the series too! With that said, we will follow Rotix's online publishing schedule and share the latest chapter here as well. Soon after we publish this journal, we will upload the first chapter.
2) We know it has been awhile for us to release any update on our game making production, but now we would like to announce that we have officially started a new game project: Noble Sound, a visual novel with simulation and RPG elements. We have started to work on the script and will make announcement on any major progress we make :3
2015 is a new year for Amber Clover with many changes, which as the result makes us updating this page less frequent than we should, of which we apologize, but things will start to change about that! As always, we would like to have your support and feedback on our creation! Thank you very much! (Bow)
Therefore, starting 2/8 till 3/29, we will release one Kancolle fanart EVERY SUNDAY. If you are a fellow Kancolle fans and like our work, share it to your fellow Teitoku friends and Kancolle community. If you are new to this femdom but still like what you see, please share it too :3

The next BFP of Amber Clover!!!
As mentioned in my last journal post Acen, Amber Clover wants to aim for a new goal to marks its next stage of growth. However, it turns out to be easily said and done. What exactly that goal is does took us awhile to discover, but it is finally in shape and we are working hard to make it happen! To mark the start of this plan, several major changes would be made!
1) We will start cooperating with some great artists to establish our goals. The first two of them would be Rotix and Tu-Go. Both artists have creates some awesome work and have agreed to work with us as guest artists to promotes the love of doujin art creation to the world!
Starting today, we will start upload their brilliant creations and we hope you like it just like we do :3
2) We will also have a new round of Kantai Collection Matsuri!(Aka Kancolle Fest!) Both our own team artists and our guest artists will upload their Kancolle fanart here, so if you are a fellow Kancolle fans, don't miss it :3
3) Last but not least, we will introduce new ways of running our artist alley table at Acen this year, which hopefully will bring our audience and potential customers some great surprise!

As last year, Amber Clover has experienced various new things and made some progress. To list a few, we started our commission business on DeviantArt(and man, what a totally new area to explore!), tried new series/products at conventions, met and interacted with other artists at cons beyond Chicago area ones etc. Some works, some not really, but hey, that's LIFE right? Just the fact that we are still standing strong and enthusiastic is something that's worthy to be appreciative about :3
OH! We also reach 1000 Watcher Point for our DA page, a WHOLE NEW MILESTONE!!!
There is actually something I wanna talk about. Being a member of Amber Clover for over 3 years now, one question I constantly asking myself is why am I into this whole art creation business? What fascinates me so much about doujin culture?
At first, as clearly reflected in my own doujin panel for cons, I thought it is this process of fantasy creation, an attempt to create your own world or dream, whether it is fanart or original art. Though now I think I come to the realization that there might be a new motivation. It is interaction with U GUYS, that drive us going forward. I think a present from a great fan of us can tell a better story than my words:

after we completed his commission. Things like this really warms our heart and bring us joy far beyond the art creation process itself. As I know say these alot in my previous journals, but we can't express our appreciation of your support and love enough in any way. So what's the next step for Amber Clover from now on? Actually, it might be time for us to move on to the next stage and take some more ambitious actions regarding our creation. As for what they would be, that's still in process of consideration, but we would update you asap once we make up our mind! So stay tuned guys! And once again, thank you all for support!
